Join the Movement

BookTastic festivals bring together leading UK authors and illustrators, resources, designed by educational leaders, a year-long programme to engage children, and a climactic, exciting event that transforms them into lifelong readers.

BookTastic supports passionate local delivery partners to deliver the BookTastic experience for their community.

So how does it work?

Let’s Build a BookTastic!

Step 1: Build your team

BookTastic festivals support National Curriculum goals: developing pleasure in reading, understanding different forms and purposes for writing, and discussing books by authors they’ve met personally.

Step 2: Build your plan

Create an event that matches your community and its needs. Built from day 1 to deliver something that works for your local children

Step 3: Build a budget

BookTastic is always free at the point of access, with all barriers addressed – your funding plan needs to identify what it take to make it happen for kids in your area.

Step 4: Get funding

BookTastic works best when it’s a collaboration with the whole community. Local businesses and organisations are heavily invested in seeing great things happen for local children.

Step 5: Contact BookTastic!

Really this could have been Step 1. When we work with you we will help every step of the way from initial idea to fundraising and delivery. Whether your ready to start or just starting to think about a call, we’d love to hear from you.
